My boyfriend and I have the coolest dog named AC, however you might think that A/C is short for some special name, but it’s really a lot simpler than that.
The reason why we decided to call him A/C was because he went straight to the HVAC vent when we first brought him home, but it was a blazing hot day and the air conditioning in the house felt great, then he happened to like about the air conditioning and when he would sit right next to the HVAC vent like that we thought the name A/C was appropriate… A lot of people get a laugh when we tell them the name of our dog and the story behind the name.
They usually say the name is cute and tell our dog how much they like air conditioning as well. Our dog is actually drawn to the air conditioning and I don’t think that will ever change… We even decided to put his doggy bed right in his favorite spot so he can be even more comfortable. He actually likes that and he is often just sprawled out there on his bed when the air conditioner is flowing, however sometimes he will get upset when the air conditioner cuts off. At times I will change the temperature control settings to make him happy again, but periodically he doesn’t mind if the air temperature in the house is cool enough. I think you could say he’s just care about most humans too because in the winter season, he honestly enjoys the heat. He will sit in his same spot while the heat warms him up when it’s too cold around the household. One day the two of us will get radiant heated floors and see how he likes that.
