Sale on old gas furnaces is good for us

When our heating company decided to have a a single-time liquidation event, I never anticipated both of us would make so much currency.

It was my plan brought to the table. I thought both of us could get rid of some old inventory and make room for newer A/C units and heaters. Both of us have a storage facility several miles away from our office. Both of us keep all of our stock in this storage facility! At any time, both of us usually have several different makes and models of a/cs, heaters, gas furnaces, and boilers. The facility just finished a multi-million dollar remodel that includes security features, weather conditions control, and CCTV’s. When the storage company decided to raise their rates, both of us had a sale to liquidate some of our older inventory. Both of us expected to take a small loss on the sale, but both of us absolutely made a lot of currency. Both of us decided to offer low-cost replacement services on every purchase during the liquidation event. When customers heard that both of us would also offer replacement services at low cost, the doors were flooded with people. 90% of all items bought in the sale were busy with an accompanying replacement service. The Heating and Air Conditioning servicemans were booked steady for a full month after the sale. Both of us sold enough items to downsize our storage area. The public responded so well to our sales event that the owners are talking about doing this style of event yearly. It will help with client relations and allow us to keep less inventory on hand. In my book, that is a win for the customers and the company.
