I can’t easily believe the financial mess that our parents have found themselves in.
When I was a kid, our parents absolutely struggled to provide for our family.
The people I was with and I have lived in some pretty awful dwellings, but never as rough as the dwelling that our parents are living in now. I just found out that our parents don’t even have a furnace in their dwelling. When they showed up at their house, there was no electricity, no furnace, no running water, etc. The only thing that has changed is that they have electricity in almost all of the rooms now! But I just don’t understand how they live without a furnace. I may be poor, but even I have a working furnace in my dwelling that I keep in pretty good condition. In fact, I make less currency than our parents do, plus they still aren’t able to afford a furnace for their dwelling. When I went to their home recently, I learned how they stay sizzling during the cold season. They have a pressing collection of electric section heaters, propane heaters, plus kerosene heaters. Early in the morning, our parents turn on all of their section gas furnaces at the same exact time. The propane furnaces heat up the dwelling absolutely abruptly, plus once the room feels nice and toasty, they turn the propane furnaces off plus leave the other section furnaces on. They also have a small section furnace in the lavatory plus bedroom. Inside the night, they only leave a single kerosene furnace on in their bedroom. They are spending a huge amount of money on section furnaces plus the fuel for those heaters. I guess that they would save a small fortune if they just bought a quality furnace.
