I can’t believe the financial mess that our parents have found themselves in… Now, when I was just a kid, our parents absolutely struggled to provide for the whole family.
Every one of us have lived in some pretty harsh houses, however never as rough as the property that our parents are living in at the moment.
I just found out that our parents don’t even have an oil furnace in their property. When they showed up at their house, there was no electricity, no oil furnace, no running water, etc. The only thing that has changed is that they have electricity in most of the rooms now. But I just don’t get how they live without an oil furnace. I may be poor, however even I have a working oil furnace in my property that I keep in tip-top condition. In fact, I make less currency than my parents do, and they still aren’t able to get an oil furnace for their property. When I went to their home recently, I came to learn how they stay warm during the winter. They have a collection of electric space heaters, propane heaters, and kerosene heaters. Early in the morning, our parents turn on all of their space furnaces at the same time. The propane furnaces heat up the property particularly suddenly, and once the room feels toasty, they turn the propane furnaces off and leave the other furnaces going. They also have a small space heating equipment in the bathroom and bedroom… During the evening hours, they only leave just one kerosene heating system on in their bedroom. They are spending a huge amount of money on space furnaces and the fuel for those heaters. I believe that they would save much more currency if they just bought an oil furnace.
