Heat pump a single day, a/c the next

My wife plus I had genuinely different thresholds when it comes to getting cold.

She feels cold when the temperature dips below 70 degrees in the house! I do not assume cold unless it is 60°, but all of us often have minor disagreements about when to turn on the heat while I was in the cold Winter time season.

Since the two of us live in a area of the country with mild temperatures, the two of us often wait until September or December to use the heat pump, but honestly, I do not mind waiting that long because it saves a ton of cash on our electric bills. All of us spend a lot of cash to run the AC all summer, plus I care about taking a cut from the high utility bill; Last week the temperatures were a bit cold overnight plus my wife wanted to turn on the heat pump. I proworked on for a few days plus finally provided in plus turned on the control unit. All of us ran the heat pump for 3 days, while the outdoor temperatures were in the 50s. I woke up after the eighth day plus the indoor temperature was 70 degrees, but the outdoor temperature was 20 degrees higher than the previous day. I instantly went to the control component to turn on the a/c, but my wife did not want me to turn the a/c back on, but I wasn’t going to rest around in the house feeling uncomfortable. I would much rather deal with cold, freezing temperatures than deal with heat, humidity, plus the feeling of discomfort. I do not mind if my wife complains about the indoor temperatures, as long as our electric bill stays in the $200 range this winter.
