Why can’t I get any cool air from my AC unit

Yesterday was the first day when it was warm enough to turn on my air conditioning unit.

I was really excited to be able to turn the AC unit on and I couldn’t wait to feel the cool air coming from the air vents.

I turned the thermostat over to the AC and I set the temperature to seventy. I waited for over fifteen minutes and even though I could hear the AC unit running, there wasn’t any cool air. I looked into the air vent to see if there was something inside blocking the cool air, but nothing was happening. I went outside and I could hear the air conditioning unit trying to run, but it wasn’t reaching into the house. I called the HVAC company and I told them what was happening. The person who took my information said it sounded like there was a blockage somewhere and said she could someone to the house within a couple of hours. I waited for nearly three hours before the HVAC technician arrived and then I began to pace. I knew there had to be something desperately wrong if my air conditioning unit isn’t working properly. I had called the HVAC company earlier in the spring and they told me that everything looked fine. It was barely three months later and I didn’t have any air conditioning. When the HVAC technician arrived, it took only a couple of minutes before he found the problem. From the time he had done the inspection until now, a mouse had gotten into the AC unit and built a nest around the fan in the AC unit.
