I can’t believe that I nearly completely burned down our new home because of a stupid gas furnace.
I should have realized that the space gas furnace was going to cause a problem.
My first mistake was buying the cheapest space gas furnace that currency could buy. For under $50, I purchased an electric space gas furnace for our home. I have a drafty house, and I use the space gas furnace in our den at evening because it is cold. Even though this space gas furnace had a truly warm setting, I was truly sad that the power cord on the space gas furnace looked sub-par. The space gas furnace mentioned that it was truly safe. This space gas furnace was the radiating type of space gas furnace that contains with oil. The space gas furnace didn’t get overly hot, however it could sizzling up a room as a supplementary heater. However, the gas furnace did have a high setting, and the directions explained that you shouldn’t use the warmest setting on the space gas furnace while not at home. Well, I only wanted to use the space gas furnace while I was there at night, and I figured that the safety settings on the space gas furnace would be adequately safe. Sadly, that didn’t work. A few months after plugging our space gas furnace in, the power cord on the space gas furnace became easily damaged. The safety settings didn’t turn off the heater, and only the smell of the smoke on the burning carpet woke us all up before we burned to death.I think I should entirely find a safer space gas furnace with a more reliable cord next time.
