My neighbor has rooftop solar panels to heat his swimming pool

I love watching my neighbor with all of his cool toys and technology.

Last year he built a zip line in the backyard for his kids.

It only took him a week of an hour worth of labor every day after he came home from work. That is the sort of motivation that he has and his unceasing drive to enrich his children’s lives, no matter how much physical work is involved. When it was finished, I was so impressed that I asked him if I could watch while they used it the first time. It was fun to watch his two boys laughing with extreme joy as they took turns flying across the backyard from one end to the next. I could see his wife nervously clutching her phone in her hands, clearly worrying for their safety but staying quiet to retain their enjoyment. Their backyard is huge and even has a swimming pool, another project that started years before his two boys were born. Right now, he’s working on installing solar panels on his roof to power the water heater for his swimming pool. It is poised to save him upwards to 50% on energy costs for running the pool heater during the winter season. Unfortunately, he’s doing it alone and I can’t help him, having no experience with expensive heating equipment like solar panels and the hardware used to install them. I see him up on that roof working on the project every time I get home from work in the afternoons. That man will take on any project you throw at him, even if it involves custom HVAC equipment.
