My roommates and I live in a third-floor apartment.
The apartment has three bedrooms, so each one of us has a separate space.
We share the kitchen, living room, and dining room. One of the best things about our apartment is the fact that each one of our bedrooms has a separate bathroom. It’s nice to have my own shower, especially since I live with two other guys. I prefer a clean sink and toilet, but it’s clear that both of my roommates could care less about the cleanliness of our bathroom. We share all of the expenses for the apartment. We split the rent, utilities, phone, and internet three ways. We all pay for our own food, but we split the cost of condiments like Mayo, ketchup, mustard, and milk. When I suggested that we buy an indoor air purifier, both of my roommates thought it was a great idea. With coronavirus on everyone’s minds, I thought it would be a great idea to buy a portable air purifier. I was really happy that my roommates agreed with the decision, because they helped me pay for the machine. We chose a portable air purifier from the hardware store with disposable air filters and a digital display screen. It’s louder than I would like, but it was a cheap air purifier. As long as it removes all of the germs, viruses, and bacteria from the air, then I don’t care if it sounds like an old car engine. The air purifier will help make our entire apartment safe for every one of us.
