Goldfish Serial Killer

I’m glad that Jesus Christ was in the form of a man because if he were made in the image of a fish I would be in deep trouble at our afternoon of judgment.

My aquatic St! Peter would point to the time our partner and I decided to get an aquarium full of goldfish. After a few afternoons, the water began to turn orange and a bevy of snails and algae-eating fish could not unattach the scum from the sides of the tank. Fish after fish turned “belly up” and some even jumped out of the tank, thinking that they had a better opening facing off against our animal on a dry floor. The “massacre” was complete after every one of us changed the water but neglected to let it adjust to room temperature. The ghosts of those poor fish may be getting their revenge at myself and others by using our Heating and Air Conditioning device to unleash a never-ending siege of molds, bacteria, and even algae. In Summer when our AC is running at full capacity there is a steady drip of condensate that flows through the drainpipes and a collection pan that holds any overflow. If I am not vigilant that same orange ooze that I subjected those fish to will grow and clog up our Heating and Air Conditioning system, then but unlike our finned victims, I can add bleach to the drain pipes to kill the algae, or I can use the services of a qualified Heating and Air Conditioning worker to clean our Heating and Air Conditioning plan of any algae, molds, and accumulated grime. I’m hoping that the “fish gods” will be forgiving of our mass killing but now I have to worry about the “algae gods”.
