There is no doubt that my family and I are in deep savings mode. The economic downturn has hit us square in the wallet. Thankfully, we have a life that is fairly flexible and simple. I think after the last recession, my wife and I decided that we would keep things simple in order to have some flexibility if times get tough. It’s a good thing we did. I am working from the HVAC comfort of my home lately. My wife’s hours have been dramatically reduced as well. However, we aren’t in any sort of panic mode which is nice. The last time this happened, it was really tough and we had to make a lot of sacrifices. Thankfully, a simpler life has allowed us some leeway to get through all this. Stuff like having the HVAC fixed would have been a major headache had we maintained the sort of lifestyle we once had. It’s nice to be able to call the HVAC professionals when there is a problem. Back then, we would have been scrambling to find someone to fix the HVAC that would not have been qualified just to save the money. I know that getting through this rocky economic experience will be tricky. However, I also know that we will be doing it in the comfort of our HVAC because it was repaired professionally. There really is no substitute for credentialed, licensed HVAC technicians when it comes to looking after such a complicated piece of machinery. Even though it costs a bit more, we’ll always stick with the HVAC pros.
