An seasoned interest of mine used to be cave exploring, after numerous times of being successful at navigating our way in and out of them, I became cocky and started going without maps and actually few supplies, i had numerous warnings from people not to do that, but our own arrogant mind plugged them out, and eventually a brand new cave was found near our new home which called for investigation from me, this cave was completely unexplored by people, and who knew how seasoned it was and what goods it might hold.
- I have found several beat artifacts from caves before; So I set off, with just a small backpack with a couple of snacks, a water bottle and a flashlight.
The cave was in a vertical hole, so I used a rope to lower myself in the hole. I did not tell anyone that I was going cave exploring alone. I shined our flashlight in the pitch black cave, which had a cooling draft in it. I instantly felt cold, despite the fact that I ignored it. I explored until I reached the end, and turned back to go home. I tripped over a small rock and our flash flew out of our hand and disappeared in a crack in the floor. I could not get it out so I was left in pitch blackness… By then it was evening out and it was chilly. I tried feeling our way out while shivering and I was lost. The entire time I was thinking about how I was missing our heating system. I was chilly chilly and badly wanted a gas furnace. Thankfully I did manage to find our way home, and I cranked up our gas furnace all of the way, and loved the heating device on a chilly evening. I stopped going cave exploring after that, and started enjoying our heating machine even more.
