My wife and I have lived up north for a long while, but we always wished that we had a fireplace.
Eventually, we decided it was time to buy a home instead of renting one.
We went seeking the perfect house for us, but we were hoping to find one that had a nice fireplace. We actually told the realtor this and she said she would try her best to find just the right place for us with a beautiful fireplace. She actually found a few places with fireplaces, but some of these places didn’t have very good HVAC systems. Then we ended up looking at a home that was a dream come true for us. This place not only had a beautiful fireplace, but it was equipped with radiant heated floors! I had never experienced radiant heated floors until I walked through this house. I really must say, the radiant heated floors felt absolutely wonderful! We knew right away that we wanted to buy this house and we didn’t hesitate to put an offer in. We were really happy when the sellers accepted our offer, and before we knew it, we were moving in! It’s so much nicer living in this home now especially during the winter season. We believe it’s a good idea to have multiple sources of heating during the frosty winters we have. This is why we opted for a nice place with a fireplace and a reliable heating system. We also have a couple of portable heating systems for backup as well including gas heaters and electric heaters.
