When I was a little younger, I decided that I didn’t want to waste money on renting a home any longer, so I decided to buy a house. The house was a little bit of a fixer upper, but it was a place to call my own. Not to mention, I no longer was throwing my money away! Also, it’s actually cheaper to have a mortgage than to rent a house. One issue with the house is the fact that I only had a couple of window A/C units. At first I didn’t mind using the window A/C units, but then I realized on the really hot days, it just felt too uncomfortable in my house. Another issue that I realized is that my house did not have any ductwork, so I didn’t know how I was going to install a central HVAC system. I ended up calling the HVAC company because I had a pretty good amount of money saved. I told them that I wanted some sort of central HVAC system. I explained how the window A/C units I had were not doing a good job at cooling my home. They told me that to have ductwork installed in the house would be extremely expensive, but the HVAC technician said he had a better idea. He said that I could have a ductless mini split installed for way cheaper. Not to mention, he said that the ductless mini split is more energy efficient than a central cooling system. I loved the sound of this so I decided to go for the installation. I now have perfect heating and cooling in my home!
