I really like gadgets. I guess I have always been this way as far back as I can remember. It must have had a great deal to do with my dad because he was always tinkering with stuff. And all that tinkering led dad to possess a bunch of gadgets and tools. He would even go after something like our HVAC unit with some of his gadgets. I can remember him doing this while my mother picked up the phone and called the heating & A/C professionals. My dad was unafraid to take stuff apart but, unfortunately, he couldn’t always put stuff back together. This gadget habit he passed down to me just came in really handy just recently. I bought a temperature gun years ago for something that I can’t even recall. Well, moved my family about a year ago to an area that is much colder in the winter than where we come from. We got here in the middle of winter and just dealt with the HVAC unit being on all the time because we didn’t really know any better. Not this year, I know there is no really good reason for the HVAC unit to run as much as it did. The HVAC unit is pretty new and has been evaluated by the heating & A/C people. The complication was the house. But, I entirely had the tool that could help us rectify this situation. The heated air was just pouring out of my house. Needless to say, I have a bunch of sealing up to do.
