Renovating our house to include new HVAC brands

Over the years, HVAC brands’ innovation has developed so much that you can pre-set a thermostat, leave home and have it pick up from where you left without touching it so long there is no interference with the system.

People now use phones and remotes for temperature control, and those are the kind of home services that we currently miss out on.

So my husband and I planned an overhaul of our heating and cooling system to bring it up to a modern level. The exercise would take about a month because some walls had to be brought down and ductwork removed because I no longer wanted to deal with duct cleaning every time there’s an air conditioning repair service. Of course, we consulted an HVAC supplier who is also a professional HVAC serviceman before initiating the changes, and he was kind enough to assign an air conditioning expert to guide the operation. This renovation excluded heated floors but included ductless mini splits and a heated pool because we already had a boiler room. I was keen to ensure that no commercial air conditioning unit makes it to my house because crafty technicians can mislead you to buy something you do not need and end up spending more. With the upgrade, I was sure the quality HVAC would change our lives and improve the value of our property but, most importantly, improve our indoor air quality. True to my words, the new HVAC equipment paid off. I couldn’t be happier, more so now that we can comfortably regulate our air quality with both remotes and phone applications.
