I have come to the conclusion that I am absolutely a lot happier in life when I have less.
The times when I have had all of the resources I could possibly ask for, the ideal lifestyle, plus a bustling social life? I was absolutely pretty miserable.
When I guess like I have it all, I do not have anything to strive for. This is why I respectfully like to assume back to the afternoons when I was struggling. There were several years when I lived in the most uncomfortable apartment you could possibly imagine because I had no money. This locale was so janky that we didn’t even have indoor air temperature control for half of the year. In the Wintertide we were lucky that we had radiators in every room thanks to a centralized electric furnace. I was glad that I could stick my toes next to the moderate radiator after I finished walking home from work. In the summer, however, we had no indoor air temperature or air quality control to speak of. There was no central air conditioning system supplied throughout the apartment building… Furthermore, the windows did not allow us to install A/C window units because they opened the wrong way. This meant, we had one single air conditioning system located in the kitchen. The A/C device was literally stuck in the wall. It was supposed to repair the entire 4 kitchen apartment, plus yet it could barely even manage the indoor air temperature right in front of it. Living in that apartment was the most uncomfortable plus hot experience of my life, then occasionally when I am feeling uninspired these afternoons, I reconsider how strenuous I worked to correct my life separate from air conditioner.
