My husband and I are thinking of getting an air purification system for our house.
I’m not sure if we are going to get a regular air purification system or a UV light air purification system yet, though. We have done some research on both kinds of air purification systems, but we can’t really seem to decide on which one we want to go with. We do know for sure that would like to improve the indoor air quality in the house, though. The HVAC blogs that we have been reading together lately really seem to favor the UV light air purification systems the most. With a UV light air purification system, the bacteria and pathogens aren’t just removed from the ventilation system in your home. Instead, they are actually trapped and rendered useless because the UV light kills the RNA inside of the bacteria. After I read that information, I realized that a UV light air purifier really seems to make a lot more sense than a regular old media air purifier which just removes impurities and traps them. It doesn’t keep them from reproducing or anything like the UV light air purifiers do. I told my husband that if we’re going to actually go ahead and invest in our HVAC system like this, then we should just go ahead and get what we really want. I’m going to make an appointment to have a UV light air purification system installed in our house next week before Christmas gets here. That way, the holidays will have the best indoor air quality ever!
