From time to time I have to admit that I haven’t absolutely trusted professionals of any kind.
I have experienced situations where a professional has let me down in such a fundamental way.
This had the effect of making me question the very basis of professionalism in general. I have been misdiagnosed by doctors and had lawyers drop the ball. This makes me kind of lose a bit of faith if I’m going to be completely honest. However, I have faith in a particular group of professionals to get it right every time. And those certified pros are the Heating and A/C dealers who work on our heating and cooling equipment. Recently, that faith was put to the test. Our Heating and A/C tech came out to do the pre-winter Heating and A/C check and repair. It turns out that there is something wrong with a key area of the Heating and A/C. This will require a repair and not an inexpensive one. This comes at a bad time for us. We are dealing with less income due to the pandemic, so we are going to have to dip into the savings on this one. But thankfully, our Heating and A/C company took such wonderful care of us this summer. Plus, it’s just such a vital area of our family’s comfort and welfare. So much so that I didn’t even hesitate to make the Heating and A/C repair appointment. I think for sure that if our Heating and A/C people say there is an issue which needs attention, then that is good enough for us. It may be more expensive however the only people looking after our Heating and A/C are the professionals.
