From time to time I have to confess that I haven’t really trusted professionals of any type.
I have experienced situations where a professional has let me down in such a fundamental way. This had the effect of making me question the basis of professionalism in general. I have been misdiagnosed by doctors and had lawyers drop the ball. This makes me kind of lose a bit of faith if I’m going to be completely honest. However, I have faith in a particular group of professionals to get it right every time. And those certified pros are the Heating and Air Conditioning repairmen who work on our heating and cooling equipment. Recently, that faith was put to the test. Our Heating and Air Conditioning professional came out to do the pre-winter Heating and Air Conditioning check and maintenance. It turns out that there is something wrong with a big area of the Heating and Air Conditioning. This will require a repair, and not an inexpensive one. This comes at a tough time for us. We are dealing with less income due to the pandemic, so the two of us are going to have to dip into the savings on this one. But thankfully, our Heating and Air Conditioning technicians took such great care of us this summer. Plus, it’s just such an important area of our family’s comfort and welfare. So much so that I didn’t even hesitate to make the Heating and Air Conditioning maintenance appointment. I know for sure that if my Heating and Air Conditioning people say there is a problem which needs attention, then that is good enough for us. It may be more expensive however the only people looking after our Heating and Air Conditioning are the professionals.
