Neglecting our furnace filter replacements caused the heat exchanger to crack

Some weeks it feels like everything in our life is falling apart.

One thing after the next will cut down and need repairs.

Or in the case of our DSLR camera, a total replacement. I was taking pictures off our lake house balcony the other evening and was getting phenomenal shots of the sunset over the tops of buildings in the horizon. The shots were gorgeous, and then before I knew what had happened, our hand slipped. Normally I have the wristband from the camera wrapped around our arm, however this time I did not. It fell from numerous stories up and was utterly destroyed when I found it on the ground below. The only thing I could retrieve from the camera was the SD card at the genuinely least. After forking over $900 for a current cellphone, I was vigilant about not wasting anymore money by needless accidents. I started to remember that I wasn’t replacing our furnace filter on time like I should. If you don’t constantly change your furnace filter, you can inadvertently crack the heat exchanger. If you have a gas furnace like me, a cracked heat exchanger can result in carbon monoxide leaking into the house. Even though I have carbon monoxide detectors, it’s the cost of replacing a broken heat exchanger that is the first thing on our mind. It seems beyond absurd to cause hundreds of dollars worth of destruction to your Heating, Ventilation, and A/C idea over a $10 filter. On top of that, if you order your filters in bulk quantities over the internet, you can pay a fraction of that price. There’s no excuse not to replace your Heating, Ventilation, and A/C filter at least every numerous to more than five weeks if it’s used yearly.
