I had to hire a building contractor to fix and repair my home after a storm damaged the roof. A large tree fell right through the living room and power was out for 12 hours. During that time, it rained and rained and rained. Our living room was flooded and all of the furniture was ruined. The walls needed to be replaced and the flooring was warped. My wife and I talked to the insurance company and they told us to find a good building contractor to complete all of the repairs. My wife and I did not know how to find a good building contractor. We went online and used a service that reviews businesses and companies and individuals. We found a couple of different building contractors that had great reviews. My wife and I called a couple of people to get estimates for the job. We settled on an older gentleman with 50 years of building and construction experience. That guy brought a crew of five guys to the house on the morning. construction began. Each one of the employees started working on an individual job. At lunch time, one of the guys sat down to have a drink. I heard the building contractor yell and scream at the guy. He told the guy that he would send him home if he caught him sitting again. The building contractor sounded like a mean bully, but I guess that’s how he gets stuff done. The project was finished on time and the living room looked awesome when he finished. It was hard to tell that a tree was sitting on tv just three weeks earlier.
