Can’t believe a patron tried to have me fired

A patron tried to call the office this month to get me totally fired.

Thankfully, our boss isn’t the type of guy that easily jumps to conclusions.

After our boss talked to the patron on the iphone, he brought me to the office to get my side of the story with what happened. I easily remember the customer, she was on my schedule Monday. I basically went to repair the cooling equipment in her property. After I located the concern with the cooling equipment, I gave the patron an estimate for the repair services. She didn’t question the amount on the invoice as well as she didn’t seem to have any issues in the least with my analysis of the situation. After I finished the repair, she didn’t want to pay the bill at all. I thought the lady was only kidding, although she refused to supply me with a credit card or write a check. This lady wanted to talk about the bill. She told me that it was way too much currency for the repair as well as she wanted me to lower the price by roughly $100. I informed the lady that the cooling equipment was fixed as well as I showed her the estimate for the work. She even signed the estimate, and she refused to pay the fees until I told her that I would just mail her a bill. She wrote a check after that. I went back to the office as well as I started working on another HVAC equipment task. The next day, the patron reached out to the office to talk to our boss. She tried to tell him that I lied about the estimate, however I easily had the proof that was crystal clear. She signed the estimate before I even started taking care of the cooling equipment.
