For our month long vacation I sprung for the huge suite, but i was sick of always renting the cheapest room in the hotel. I got the rooftop suite for our wifey and I for our trip, then well the suite was awesome. We had our own study room, resting part and balcony. It was so classy. When I tried to run the AC I realized that the method was busted. I went immediately to the front desk to complain. The AC method was supposed to get repair a month before the people I was with and I arrived. The HVAC corporation missed our room and the people I was with and I had no AC. The hotel only had the basic rooms left to stay in. The choice was the huge luxury suite with the jacuzzi tub, balcony and huge bed or the basic room that did have cooling. I thought it was a no brainer. I said I would keep the room with no AC to have the other luxuries! My wifey and I could not rest being in the room with no cooling. We could not prefer the resting room or balcony since the people I was with and I were so hot. Who wants to be in a jacuzzi when they are dripping with sweat? We spent most of the time outside on the beach and doing activities. I splurged for a huge suite that the people I was with and I ignored the whole trip; At evening was horrible since the people I was with and I sweated buckets all evening long. I should have gotten us the basic room. They would have given myself and others money back and the people I was with and I would have gotten AC. This is fate telling myself and others I am not a huge suite person.
