I have a project to deal with

It’s old, it’s gross, it’s neglected, as well as it’s totally out in the sticks, but it’s mine! If only it had an air conditioner, I would be all set.

One day you are stuck in a run down house hating your life, as well as a month later you are in a busted up ranch house in the country, surrounded by peace as well as quiet; Funny how life works, isn’t it? I mean, I guess I had consistently believed I was an orphan with no family, but it turns out I had some random distant relative kicking around out there somewhere. That guy died, as well as his family lawyers tracked myself and others down to provide myself and others a small inheritance from him, as well as a house to call my own. It’s old, it’s gross, it’s neglected, as well as it’s totally out in the sticks, but it’s mine! If only it had an air conditioner, I would be all set. I can live pretty easily with the broken lavatory, the rundown family room, as well as the missing window panes, but living without A/C isn’t close to living at all. I can tell that this is going to take months to make liveable, but in the difficult meantime I still needed to have some air conditioner, but going back to the local neighborhood wasn’t an option, I had to make this work, so I hunted through numerous shady pawn shops until I found a used a/c I could mount in my living room window, but at least now 1 room would have AC, as well as that’s better than nothing at all. As I gradually diagnosed repairing the rest of the house, I kept the tiny A/C in my room running 24/7 so I could pop in whenever I started to overheat, because home renovations are hard work, so I made sure to have air that was cool.
