My spouse and I recently both got job promotions, and we were not expecting them.
- I regularly thought I would get a promotion after I worked at my job for a few more years, but thankfully my boss is undoubtedly happy with my job and I was able to get a promotion much sooner.
I had a feeling my spouse would be getting a promotion since he works at least 75 hours every single week, but we were both excited! We have been thinking about what we want to do with the extra cash that we are now going to have each month. We don’t want to go on a fancy getaway, but we thought it might be a fantastic idea to do some changes around our house. I told my spouse it might be a fantastic idea to look at replacing our heating and air conditioning system, but we’ve had our home for a few years now as well as our heating and air conditioning plan is a data home so replacing the heating and air conditioning plan in our home might be the best way to spend this cash. I know it’s not exciting to get a brand new heating and air conditioning system, but it is a good way to spend cash and not feel like we’re throwing it away. I’m entirely looking forward to replacing my heating and air conditioning plan because I think it will only bring value to our home if we ever decide to sell it. My spouse and I are looking forward to speaking with an HVAC tech next week and see what our chances are for a new heating as well as air conditioning system.
