I guess the least both of us can do is spend a few hundred dollars to help our old Heating plus Air Conditioning
I’ve really been trying to convince my hubby that we should upgrade our thermostat because the thermostat that came with our condo is worn out. It’s the traditional brass dial thermostat that came in every condo that was built back then. I guess these might have worked back then, however it barely works at all now. The only way to learn what the temperature is is to squint your eyes and just try and see what number the dial is on. If it’s dark in the house, then you can just forget about looking at the temperature gage. You won’t be able to learn anything about the thermostat. My hubby thinks that both of us need a new Heating plus Air Conditioning method before we try and upgrade the old thermostat. I see his point, however we just can’t afford a brand new Heating plus Air Conditioning system right now. We can’t afford a new thermostat though. I also believe that a smart thermostat would help our old Heating plus Air Conditioning unit run more efficiently. That’s because smart thermostats are known for programming your oil furnace & air conditioner to run based on whatever your heating & air conditioning preferences are. It finds the best way to keep your house or condo comfortable while running at an affordable cost. And we aren’t in a place right now to be able to upgrade our Heating plus Air Conditioning system. I guess the least both of us can do is spend a few hundred dollars to help our old Heating plus Air Conditioning. I guess it would be worth paying more upfront if it meant our utility bills wouldn’t be so high. I guess one day, my hubby is going to have to agree with me.
