It would be worth paying more upfront, I think, if it meant that our energy bills would be lower
I’ve really been trying to convince my hubby that we should get a new thermostat… The thermostat that came with our lake house is really old & worn out now. It’s the old traditional, brass, dial thermostat that came in every single house in the 1970s. I guess they may have worked back then, but it barely works now. The only way to study the temperature is to squint your eyes hard. Then you have to attempt to see what number the dial is on. If it’s dark, then you can just forget about looking at the temperature because you won’t be able to study the thermostat… My hubby thinks that we should buy a new Heating & Air Conditioning plan before we substitute out our aged thermostat for a new one. I can see his point, but we still can’t afford a brand new Heating & Air Conditioning system right now. But I know that we can afford a new thermostat though. I believe that a smart thermostat would help us with our old Heating & Air Conditioning equipment run more efficiently. Smart thermostats are widely known for programming your gas furnace & air conditioner to run based on your personal preferences. It finds the best way to keep you comfortable while running at an affordable price. Since we can’t get an expensive new Heating & Air Conditioning system, the least that we can do is spend a couple of hundred bucks to help our old Heating & Air Conditioning plan run better. It would be worth paying more upfront, I think, if it meant that our energy bills would be lower. One day, my hubby is just going to have to agree with me. A smart thermostat is the best way to go
