I was hoping that every one of us just needed a few minor adjustments, but that didn’t turn out to be the case. The specialist from the heating plus cooling biz informed us that every one of us needed to reseal the ductwork. There were many sites where most of the air was leaking into the attic. After every one of us had the ducts resealed, the home instantly felt much warmer with the heating system running. Although it wasn’t cheap, resealing the ducts cost a fraction of replacing the ducts altogether. Regardless, I’m just excited that every one of us can stay warm through the Winter now. This replacement has made a world of difference to our heater’s performance level.
