I think that my sister keeps her house cold on purpose just so I won’t go over and visit her! She knows that I’m on this medication that makes me feel like I am cold all the time, and I think that she’s doing it just to be mean to me! My sister has always been pretty mean to me, and I know it’s because she’s my older sister.
She laughs and says that it’s her job to be mean to me, but I don’t think so.
Sometimes I wish that she would just grow up. I wouldn’t even go over to her house at all these days, but she has my niece and nephew over there and so I want to see them. I could care less about visiting my sister though! Anyway, the last time I went over there to visit the kids, I looked at her thermostat in the hallway and the thermostat settings were at 65 degrees! I don’t know anyone else around here who would dream of keeping their thermostat set at 65 degrees during the middle of the winter. She makes fun of me because I always wear a coat in her house, but any normal person would. She just laughs and shakes her head, but I think she keeps it too cold for me on purpose. If she really loved me, she would turn the furnace on once in a while. Maybe I am being overdramatic, at least that’s what she says. But in my opinion, you shouldn’t have a furnace if you’re not going to use it.
