My husband and I like to travel as much as possible. We adore seeing the sights plus scenes around the world. However, we find traveling via airplane exhausting these days. There’s just so much to deal with at the airport now. We feel like we’re being shoved along and there’s nothing special about airplanes now. We’d rather get to our travel destination by car now. My husband actually enjoys driving and we get to see so much more. Our drives are way more fun actually, sort of like flying once was to us. However, if our destination is too far, then we’ll stop for the night at an interstate motel. The two of us enjoy the highway motels because of the reliable HVAC units they have installed. Those things are industrial sized and powerful. They will cool down or heat up a small motel room within minutes. We have yet to encounter a motel where the air conditioning or furnace wasn’t up to date. Upscale hotels have disappointed us way too much with their HVAC units. We hate paying more money and having a lukewarm HVAC system in our room. We won’t even stay in a hotel anymore whenever we travel for business purposes. We would much rather stay in the economy based motels. We know the quality of the HVAC systems and it will always be clean. There’s also a pretty dang relaxing breakfast in the lobby each morning. My husband will stick to driving with relaxing HVAC systems and let the airplanes simply fly above.
