My wife and I won’t even stay in expensive hotels anymore when we travel for business, due to my parent’s recommendations.
My parents have an extreme passion for traveling. They love the new sights as well as scenes and travel as often as possible. However, the morning of travel via airplane is too stressful for them now. There is too much to deal with and it’s not as luxurious as it once was. So, the two of them get to their travel endpoints by way of the highway now. My parents actually enjoy each others company and split the driving between the two of them. It’s as exciting as flying once was for them. However, if their endpoint is too far away, then they’ll stop for a night at an interstate hotel. They say that they enjoy the highway hotels, because of their reliable Heating as well as A/C units. Those things are built like tanks, plus are powerful enough to cool down or heat up their hotel room in minutes. They have yet to encounter a motel where their a/c or heat wasn’t good enough. Upscale hotels have disappointed them in the past with the inferior Heating as well as A/C units. My parents see no point in paying more money for a room that won’t cool off. They prefer the economy based hotels.Their rooms are always clean plus well heated and cooled, so there’s never any complaints. There’s a pretty fantastic breakfast every morning too. Yep, my parents will stick to the open road with superb Heating as well as A/C for all their traveling now.
