The up-to-date sights and scenes are thrilling to us.
However, the more we travel via airplane the more we hate it. There is just too much to deal with when flying these days. There’s nothing nice about flying if you’re not paying an arm and a leg. We’d rather get to our travel destinations by driving every chance we can. My wife and I absolutely enjoy each others company on the road. Our drive is part of the fun now, sort of live flying once was. If our destination is more than 10 hours away, we’ll spend the night at an interstate hotel. We actually prefer the highway hotels because they’ve got reliable Heating, Ventilation, and A/C units. Their units are built like tanks and are super powerful. They keep us cool or warm within minutes. My wife and I have yet to encounter a motel where the a/c or heat wasn’t good. Upscale hotels have always disappointed us with their useless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C units. We pay a lot of money to stay there and the AC and heat never satisfies us. We won’t even stay in these hotels anymore whenever we’re business traveling. We’d much rather stay in the economy based hotels. We know we’ll be warm or cool enough and the rooms will be clean, plus there’s always a superb breakfast in the lobby. Yep, my wife and I will stick to driving in the car with great Heating, Ventilation, and A/C and let the airplanes simply fly overhead.
