It had been two years and a half since we welcomed a baby girl into our family of three and now it was time to move her to her room.
- Our son’s room was the closest to ours so we had to move him to the other bedroom which was a little further away.
The only problem we had with this new arrangement was that what would be Theo’s new room did not adequately warm up during the cold months and for this, we had to call the heating provider to fix the issue. The last heating technician we talked to told us to get a new HVAC system and even suggested a heater for sale that he supposedly had in mind, but we were not satisfied with that solution so we had to seek a second opinion. We also needed to have the dial thermostat checked since it was constantly giving wrong readings, fireplace maintenance, and boiler repair just in case. When the professional from the home comfort business came he inspected the whole central heating system. His findings were that our boiler was in good condition and it was the regulator that was the problem and we had no choice but to buy a new one. On our bedroom issue, he told us that the issue was the ducts leading to that particular room. One was blocked and that was the reason why enough heat was not reaching the room. He also suggested that we change the furnace filter more often since we had two new cats. Who knew getting pets would make you check out the furnace filter for sale more often, good thing was that there were plenty of them in the heating corp. That day we learned more about heating and heating maintenance.
