Typically, all of us order takeout and eat it in his kitchen while all of us watch our favorite cable show and it’s my favorite area of the week. During the last multiple weekends, I noticed that the air felt stuffy in his house. I also heard his complain about his dust sensitivities on numerous occasions. I didn’t want to be rude by suggesting that his air quality wasn’t the best, but since he was my sibling, I took the chance. I told his that I had noticed his air quality and I requested that he hire an HVAC supplier to come look at things. She was hesitant at first, but I assured his that it was the wisest decision. The fee for an HVAC tune up was nothing in comparison to HVAC failure, so it was best to handle the situation now rather than later. To make his guess even better, I told his that it was most likely his air filter that needed attention. This turned out to be true, because the HVAC supplier said that his HVAC plan was in great shape, it just needed a tune up. Once they replaced the air filter, my sibling’s air quality was cleaner within the hour. I was thrilled that she’d taken my suggestion and called the HVAC supplier. Afterwards, I told his that if he noticed his dust sensitivities were still flaring up, he could replace his air filter again with a HEPA certified 1 instead.
