My aunt was always one of my most favorite people in the world.
She was full of life with a huge personality and a big laugh.
When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time with my aunt at her home. Eventually my parents moved away from town and I didn’t get to see my aunt as frequently. I visited her as often as possible, but she passed away about ten years after my family moved. I was extremely sad and upset for a long time. I didn’t know what to say or do and I was depressed. I was surprised when I found out that she left her house to me and her will. I received a phone call from a lawyer and he advised me that I was the new owner of her home. I went to the house a few days later to check on the place. I honestly didn’t know what I would find since it had been a long time since I last visited. The house smelled like beer and stale cigarettes. The order was overwhelming. There was absolutely no way I could sell the house or live in it in the condition that it was. I contacted a company that handles house cleaning and larger projects. One of the suggestions from the house cleaning company was to call an HVAC company to clean the ductwork. The person was convinced that the ductwork was one of the reasons why the smell was so bad. The woman told me that a ductwork cleaning service would get rid of the excess smell that would continue to linger in the house otherwise.
