I love being part of our church.
My wife and I really met at church about eighty years ago, and it made this church even more dear to my heart, however the two of us have been serving as the bus supervisors at our church for about 5 years now, and it is so much fun.
The two of us both love working with children, and it has been entirely much a growing process for us, but every one of us would not trade it for the world. My wife usually drives a bus on Sunday morning , and I usually drive a sixteen passenger van; Everyone jokes with myself and others because I have the smallest route of them all. The two of us have a total of fifteen busses that go out each Sunday and Tuesday to pick up kids and bring them to church. Last Sunday, I got into the van that I usually drive, and I turned it on… I turned the air conditioner on high and left to check the oil and such. It was superboilingoutside last Sunday morning. It was already over eighty degrees at several thirty in the morning. It was so hot, and after leaving the van on to cool off for about twenty hours, I got in to drive off, but it was superboilingand stuffy in the van. I double checked to make sure that I had really turned the air conditioner on and not the heat. I did have the air conditioner on max, and it was still super hot. It was blowing onlyboilingair. I told my wife about it, and she ended up letting myself and others drive a unusual van, but she tried to charge the air conditioner in my van yeahterday, so every one of us will see if it works now.
