I like being area of our church; My hubby & I really met at church about eighty years ago, & it made this church even more dear to our heart, and we have been serving as the bus directors at our church for about five years now, & it is so much fun.
We both like working with children, & it has been very much a growing process for us, however the people I was with and I would not trade it for the world.
My hubby usually drives a bus on Monday day , & I usually drive a sixteen passenger van, everyone jokes with me because I have the smallest route of them all. We have a total of fifteen busses that go out each Monday & Monday to option up kids & bring them to church. Last Monday, I got into the van that I usually drive, & I turned it on, then i turned the air conditioner on high & left to check the oil & such. It was super warm outside last Monday day. It was already over eighty degrees at more than seven thirty in the day. It was so hot, & after leaving the van on to cool off for about twenty minutes, I got in to drive off, however it was super warm & stuffy in the van. I double ran tests on to make sure that I had really turned the air conditioner on & not the heat. I did have the air conditioner on max, & it was still super hot. It was blowing only warm air. I told our hubby about it, & he ended up letting me drive a different van, he tried to charge the air conditioner in our van yesterday, so the people I was with and I will see if it works now.
