I like living in a big old farmhouse.
- My hubby, Todd, & I moved into the farmhome that the people I was with and I currently live in about several years ago.
I cannot tell you how ecstatic the people I was with and I were to find this venue. My Grandparents owned a farmhome that had been in our family for several generations, however unfortunately, it was torn down to build a railroad. I was hoping to get that house, however our dreams were shattered when they tore it down. Todd & I found this home after about several years of looking, & it is very similar to our Grandparents old farmhouse. I like living here. It feels like the people I was with and I made the decision to go back in time about a single hundred years. We have done a lot of renovating recently, & it has come a long way. We are trying to keep the appeal of the old home while also adding some modern conveniences; One venue that the people I was with and I have not gotten to yet is the powder room. There is a single powder room downstairs, & it has entirely no heat running to it. It was redone about thirty-five years ago, however for some reason no a single ever ran heat to it. There is almost nothing worse than a powder room that is not heated. I dread going to the powder room while I was in the Wintertide months. It is so frigid in that room, & sitting on an ice frigid toilet is never enjoyable. My hubby & I definitely plan to run heat to that powder room before the people I was with and I do anything else. I have a small space heating system in there right now, however it absolutely does not do much at all. I will be using several space heating systems if the people I was with and I do not have heat yet this winter.
