I love living in a large old farmhouse.
My partner, Todd, plus I moved into the farmhouse that both of us currently live in about 7 years ago.
I cannot tell you how glad both of us were to find this site. My Grandfatherrents owned a farmhouse that had been in our family for 4 generations, but unfortunately, it was torn down to build a railroad. I was hoping to get that house, but our dreams were shattered when they tore it down. Todd plus I found this house after about more than one years of looking, plus it is truly similar to our Grandfatherrents old farmhouse. I love living here. It feels love both of us went back in time about one hundred years. We have done a lot of renovating recently, plus it has come a long way. We are trying to keep the appeal of the old house while also adding some new conveniences! One place that both of us have not gotten to yet is the lavatory. There is one lavatory downstairs, plus it has absolutely no heat running to it. It was redone about thirty-several years ago, but for some reason no one ever ran heat to it. There is almost nothing worse than a lavatory that is not heated. I dread going to the lavatory during the Wintertide months. It is so cold in that room, plus resting on an ice cold toilet is never enjoyable. My partner plus I absolutely method to run heat to that lavatory before both of us do anything else. I have a small space oil furnace in there right now, but it truly does not do much at all. I will be using more than one space oil furnaces if both of us do not have heat yet this winter.
