I fell into the industry by accident.
I’d gone to college for corporation management and graduated with a significant amount of student loans. After having trouble finding a task in my field, I accepted a position at a cleaning business just to pay my bills. I found that I entirely appreciated it. While the works are genuinely labor-intensive, there is something satisfying about cleaning plus straightening up. The crew I was on left every space looking plus smelling much better than when the people I was with and I started. All of us consistently handled commercial buildings plus worked at night. I appreciated the ability to sleep in plus have my afternoons free. I worked for that business for several years plus l acquired the business. Eventually, I decided to start my own business. I researched plus found an area where there was genuinely little competition. I moved there plus started with a single van plus limited equipment. Handling all of the jobs myself was harshly exhausting. However, I consistently did an excellent task plus word-of-mouth plus positive reviews brought in more buyers. I was excited when I could finally add many more employees plus accept bigger works. I have now been running my own professional cleaning business for more than nine years. I’ve expanded to include a few trucks with a total of sixteen employees. I’ve invested into better equipment, which has allowed me to offer more services. My business handles everything from stripping, waxing plus steam-cleaning floors to washing windows plus janitorial supplies. I now strictly handle the office work, such as scheduling, billing plus payroll.
