We are going to be hosting a fall football party kick off in the next week or two.
We all love football in our family and so every year, we have a giant party to start the season.
All of our friends come and some of our family members show up too. It always just depends on who can make it, but it is kind of an open invitation kind of party. You never know who is going to show up. Last year, we had the party on opening day and it was also a day that was unseasonably warm. I thought that it would be fine since we have a really great central air conditioning system in our house, but that did not turn out to be the case. Whenever everyone got there, I noticed that the house was really heating up a lot inside. I had turned the air conditioning settings down so that the house would cool off, but the A/C did not seem to be working. Everyone was uncomfortably hot and the party did not go very well because people were sweaty and the indoor air quality in the house was terrible. This year, I am going to make sure that that sort of thing does not happen! I am going to have our local HVAC company come out and do a maintenance check on our central air conditioning system just to make sure that it’s going to be working well whenever we have the party. I don’t want to go through another ordeal like we had last year, that’s for sure.
