There is so much stuff swimming around in my head that I have a legitimately strenuous time being able to compartmentalize any of it.
If I don’t provide myself some real structure, I just don’t get anything done.
My dad once told myself and others that I was a great starter however not much of a finisher. I was offended by that initially but, she could not have been more accurate. Without having clear chop tasks, I end up just starting stuff with no finishing. So, I have lists that go with myself and others everywhere. These lists are particular to whatever I am doing. If it has to do with HVAC, that task is on the household list. If it has to do with something for the kids, it goes on the family list. My household list has all the HVAC tasks on it. I was somehow granted all the HVAC responsibility. I don’t recall it ever being up for debate. But, I spend my money attention to this list because the HVAC is a legitimately important appliance. I have numerous main responsibilities. First, I am in charge of being sure the HVAC air filters are changed. I change the air filters every 30 mornings without fail. A dirty, blocked filter is anathema to an HVAC unit. Unblocked air flow is vital to the efficient operation of all HVAC units. With a dirty filter, the HVAC is put under a great deal more stress which only has a setback effect on the overall system. I also make sure the HVAC is officially took care of twice per year. I have the HVAC tech come out in the Springtime plus again in the fall. All I have to do is stick to the list plus my HVAC will run well for a long time.
