There is so much stuff swimming around in my head that I have a certainly difficult time being able to compartmentalize any of it.
If I don’t give myself some real structure, I just don’t get anything done.
My dad once told me that I was a good starter but not much of a finisher. I was offended by that initially but, he could not have been more accurate. Without having clear cut tasks, I end up just starting stuff with no finishing. So, I have lists that go with me everywhere. These lists are identifiable to whatever I am doing. If it has to do with Heating, Ventilation and A/C, that task is on the household list. If it has to do with something for the youngsters, it goes on the family list. My household list has all the Heating, Ventilation and A/C tasks on it. I was somehow granted all the Heating, Ventilation and A/C responsibility. I don’t recall it ever being up for debate. But, I pay attention to this list because the Heating, Ventilation and A/C is a certainly important appliance. I have multiple main responsibilities. First, I am in charge of being sure the Heating, Ventilation and A/C air filters are changed. I change the air filters every 30 afternoons without fail. A dirty, congested filter is anathema to an Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit. Uncongested air flow is vital to the efficient operation of all Heating, Ventilation and A/C units. With a dirty filter, the Heating, Ventilation and A/C is put under a good deal more stress which only has a negative effect on the overall system. I also make sure the Heating, Ventilation and A/C is properly maintained twice per year. I have the Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech come out in the Springtime plus again in the fall. All I have to do is stick to the list plus my Heating, Ventilation and A/C will run well for a long time.
