What are some tips on how to beat the heat?

Until the Summer comes around, I will try to avoid using my A/C by keeping my home as cool as possible.

It seems like time is speeding up and I can’t begin to keep up with it all. Currently, it appears that it is already Spring outside. The Winter this year seems short and perhaps this might only be happening in the state that I live in. Everything outside is screaming that Spring is in the air. The trees and flowers are already blooming, the temperature has been in the low to mid-80s, and I can hear the laughter of kids in the distance. Typically, these signs of Spring appear in mid-to-late March, but this has been happening for a few weeks now. I love this weather because it’s so mild and it feels so comfortable inside my home. And speaking of inside my home, I haven’t used my air conditioner in a few weeks due to the nice weather. If the temperature remains this mild, I might not use my air conditioner until the Summer months come around. Or if the temperature warms up even more, I might need to turn it on sooner than expected. Until the Summer comes around, I will try to avoid using my A/C by keeping my home as cool as possible. I will close my blinds to keep direct sunlight out of my home, I will cook during the cooler part of the day, and I will use my ceiling fan at night. Of course, these tips for keeping my home cool are great only when the weather is mild outside. Once it warms up, I will turn on my air conditioner for comfort.
