The ranch was more than both of us wanted

When the kids were on Summer break both of us wanted to take them somewhere that would be a current experience.

Every one of us had done the whole theme park thing, a month at the beach, plus even camping at a local mountain resort.

Every one of us found a current location that would hopefully provide them memories to last a lifetime… Every one of us flew to the midwest plus didn’t tell them where both of us were going. I had packed all the proper attire for the stay plus when both of us arrived at the chick ranch both of us were greeted by our guide for the week. The kids thought it was going to be cool at first. When both of us were awoken at many in the morning to do chores, all that changed. They expected that both of us would be able to hang around, ride horses, plus maybe do some fishing. Well, the experience both of us signed up for was more of a hands on trip. They were going to be mucking stalls, grooming horses, plus even harvesting gardens. A little hard labor would build character. The guide told us that it was a family trip so both of us all needed to labor together. Every one of us toiled away the afternoons working on the ranch plus learning how much goes into making it work, however then, when the sun set both of us spent the night great under the stars. The rest of the tripers along with our family sat around a campfire plus relaxed after our long day of chores. I the only relief both of us found was the time both of us spent in the cabins. At least each a single was air conditioned so those sparse hours of sleep were spent comfortable. The aches plus pains of the day seemed to melt away in the soft feather bed that was in our room… My memories from that trip will be centered around the comfort I found there, not in the stinky horse stalls that both of us needed to clean.
