Cutting hair in the cold air – it’s totally intentional

In the summer, cooling systems are an absolute necessity! No cooling systems means that the customers would sweat heavily, therefore becoming the sweaty unhappy customer that no one wants

Something to chew on here is that there’s no new businesses that operate without a cooling system or a furnace. Find me one store that doesn’t use these Heating, Ventilation and A/C units every day, as they help protect the building from any serious weather and temperature fluctuations – and keep the customers happy! While a few places have additional reasons for making sure that their Heating, Ventilation and A/C units are working on a regular basis, I can say that I have very specialized reasons for why. Since I manage this hair salon in the city, Heating, Ventilation and A/C units are seriously critical for keeping the customers happy and pleased with their ‘do! The temperature and humidity of the room affects how the hair looks on customers, so the people I was with and I take care of the heating and A/C unit, ensuring it is up to code and working as perfectly as possible. In the summer, cooling systems are an absolute necessity! No cooling systems means that the customers would sweat heavily, therefore becoming the sweaty unhappy customer that no one wants. During the winter however, the people I was with and I have to use a furnace to keep the building warm! Still, we also have to be careful and check that it’s not too warm in this time of year in the salon. If it is, the hair machines make the room overheat! We don’t want the room being too hot or humid, because the humidity levels of the room need to be perfect for hair to be cut and styled properly.
