I adore my husband and he is the love of my life.

He has one big problem and that is that although he wants to make life easier, he doesn’t have the ability to do it all. He seems to think that he has the ability to fix anything regardless of what it is. Unfortunately, he proved that last month when he decided he was going to change the oil in the car. He ended up with oil all over the garage and on him and it took him a full day to figure out how to properly put the new oil filter in place. He had to ask his brother to come over and give him some help. Just recently, we had a problem with our air conditioning. He wanted to try to fix the AC himself to save us some money. He went right to work on the AC unit and he had it totally ripped apart. Unfortunately, within a couple hours he knew he was in over his head and we had to call the HVAC company. The HVAC technician came in and he had a dickens of a time trying to get that air conditioning unit working again. He soon realized that the air conditioning unit was not actually broken. The thermostat simply needed to have the batteries changed. My husband laughed and he told me that given enough time, he would have figured out that it was the thermostat that needed batteries and not the AC unit that needed to be repaired.
