Making my own map

It was fairly cold outside, so I laid in my nice warm bed and enjoyed the heat from my furnace.

With the technological era, most people now use GPS and online maps to find places or explore, and with that, the paper map was thrown out the window. But I personally don’t see the fun in this, I love making my own maps. It has become a hobby of mine to drive to remote area and just start exploring and mapping everything out. I mark all interesting finds or landmarks down, and I even found some hidden spots that I named. One of my most interesting finds was a partially underwater cave. It was an ancient cave, with a natural waterfall and partially submerged under water. As much as I wanted to explore it, I knew nothing about caves, I had no idea where it went to, what could be in it or how sturdy it was. Plus, I’ve heard way too many stories of people getting lost and dying in those caves. Maybe cave exploring will be on my bucket list, but for now I need to move on. After exploring a forest and hilly area, I decided to head home and finish my map tomorrow. It was fairly cold outside, so I laid in my nice warm bed and enjoyed the heat from my furnace. It was incredibly toasty in my house, and after taking a short nap, I made a hot chocolate and enjoyed my heating system. I did have to briefly go outside to get the mail, but I sure quickened my pace to get back in front of my heater. I’m glad that I had my heating device repaired, so I can enjoy a nice warm house all winter.
