I have a friend Cora who is about 30 years old. Cora has been married for around 5 years to a hardworking man that is not that handy. Cora or her man can’t seem to service anything that breaks, and in fact, she has some sort of mental troubles, and she can’t seem to hold down a job at all. My friend makes a pretty good income. I am sure that occasionally her and her man struggle a little, and recently, their cooling system stopped turning on. I don’t know exactly what it was doing was not right. I suppose they needed it fixed in a hurry. Of course, that’s the way it is when you reside in the south, but no 1 would ever dream of not repairing the cooling system. If the heating system was damaged, they might consider getting some portable gas furnaces from the home improvement store and plugging them in instead of repairing the oil furnace. Even so, no 1 would ever dream of residing without the air conditioner in the heart of summer. Anyway, because of the desire to be cheap, our niece got it in her head that she was going to try to fix up the air conditioner herself. She watched some online tutorials, ordered some parts from the pressing online retailer, and got down to work, but lo and behold! She did it! They inspected the air conditioner, and sure enough there was cold air blowing through the air vents. I am so proud of Cora who repairs her own HVAC.
